Connectivity from Varthur Road to the airport

Very soon, Varthur lake Bund Road will be open to the public. It will be a road that will connect to the Kempegowda international airport. This mission was taken up under the CDP road project. This project was taken up in Mahadevpura. It was done to provide access to larger areas. These areas were unacceptable due to land acquisition issues.

But now it is nearly finished. The final asphalt layer is being made. It is a four-lane road widening project. It would connect Anekal, Dommasandra, Varthur, Hope farm, and Mandur. It will stretch up to the Kempegowda international airport. The secretary of Mahadevpura was Clement Jayakumar. He said that the road would be ready soon. It was delayed because of the rain. Now final asphalt layer needs to be done. This can be done only when the rain stops. Then it will be open to the general public.

Regular travelers need help to travel. So they want to use an alternative road. The road is in a terrible state. It has several potholes and waterlogging. Varthur rising member Jagadeesh Reddy said the road is in its worst form. All the people are in risk who use this road. The Pot Holes are like craters. The official also said passengers from Sarjapur Road could enter the stretch. Even people from surrounding areas can come. From here, they can drive down to Budigere Cross. Through that, they can move to Devanahalli to reach the airport.
